Though it runs from the little downtown of Bay St Louis, it is long – very long, and covers most of the distance from Hwy 90 to Waveland. On this December visit, we did spend time on Bay St Louis Beach. Now, over the last few years, we have detoured from US Hwy 90 to visit both Bay St Louis, and the “twin city”of Waveland, and enjoy the area. Over the years, however, we have enjoyed Bay St Louis, and recently visited Bay St Louis Beach.
I was probably only there, either passing through to New Orleans, or for regattas at the yacht club. Though I grew up in Gulfport, on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I really did not spend much time in Bay St Louis.
